House Mouse

Hello everyone.
Well this is my first House Mouse card that I have attempted. I've been colouring lots of images but this is the fiirst card I have completed. I coloured the image with Promarkers and used Dovecraft papers along with some papers by Summer Driggs to mat and layer. I used some satin ribbon this time, which I bought at the Farnborough craft show last month, and coloured that with my Promarkers to match the paper. I added some Cuttlebug corner die cuts and a greeting from the computer.
I have had a lovely crafty day today with my dear friend Eileen. I managed to make 2 more House Mouse cards which I will post in the next couple of days. Eileen was busy making a special card and she is probably still sitting doing it now!  It will be lovely Eileen when its done and they will love it when they see it!! lol
Im off to do some more crafting now so will be back again tomorrow.
Happy crafting x

Mothers' Day Peony

Hi everyone, hope you are well. I'm managing to blog early today as I'm hoping to sit crafting this evening rather than spending time on here looking through blogs. I've seen some wonderful items which crafters are making but it does take up time this blog-hopping!! I have a poorly daughter at home today suffering with a sore throat and sore ear so have been spending time sitting with her watching some daytime tv. Unfortunately I turned over to Create and Craft after it had finished at 1pm!!!!
My card today is made using the Peony digi stamp from Imag-enation but I think it is also available on La Pasche website. I have coloured in with Promarkers (after adding a verse in the top corner) and then mat and layered on Bazzill card. I used 'thistle' stickles around the edges (oh I do love my pinks!) and added some ribbon which I also coloured with PM to match. I didnt decorate the inside of the card this time.

I hope you like this.
I believe that I have a crafty day tomorrow with my dear friend Eileen which Im looking forward to, I do hope we manage to get more crafting than talking done tho!!!
Please leave any comments as I do read them all.
I will be back tomorrow for my 26th consecutive day of blogging!!
Bye for now x

Eeyore.....

....was the theme for my next card. I found the main picture and then made the backing paper using Paintshop Pro 8. I mat and layered and finished off with some flowers from my stash, a brad, some card candy and a greeting I made on the computer. Im sorry for the quality of the photo but I forgot to take a pic before giving it to my friend and had to get her to take the pic and send through on the phone. The colour was totally different in real life and it looked fab. The recipient was over the moon with it!!!
Sorry for such a short post again tonight, had a very hectic 13hr day again and need a good sleep! Hopefully will be back on form tomorrow. Hope you are all having fun crafting. Please come back soon x

Shattered!!!

I'm absolutely shattered this evening after my first 13hr day this week so will make this a little short and sweet. What I would like to let you know about is a wonderful lady called Summer Driggs who has some lovely new freebie papers which she has designed on her blog here. Not only is there this lovely 'A Little Spring in Your Step' pack but she has lots of other packs which are available to download. Please take a moment to have a look through because there is bound to be something that catches your eye.

Anyway I'm off now for tonight as I have another long day tomorrow. I didnt want you thinking I was going to miss a day of blogging, Im still going strong!!
Bye for now, happy crafting to you all, please visit again soon x

LOTV fans

If you love LOTV then please pop over to Paula's Blog where she is offering blog candy this month which is a £15 gift voucher for Lily of the Valley. LOTV have some new images out soon and there are so many lovely ones to choose from already that it will be really hard which ones to choose if I was lucky enough to win!! Fingers crossed. I've not had the pleasure to win anything crafty yet so there has to be a first time for everything.
Hope you are all having a lovely day. This morning I went to B&Q with my son, Connor, to take part in one of the kids classes. Today the theme was a Mother's Day gift which was a wheelbarrow planter. Connor did very well putting it all together, with just a little help from me, and then he painted it. He finished off by putting a plant inside. Well done Connor and thank you for my early gift.
I'm off now to make a couple of cards, so will be back again tomorrow after a long day at work (no lottery win for me this week!!). Bye for now x

Promarker Storage

Well, Im still going with the challenge of being here every day, only trouble is when I dont craft I still need to show something! Well today I'm going to share my Promarkers with you! Not literally as that would be silly so I'm going to be really selfish and keep them all to myself!! Me, me, me!!!  What I will share is how I store them. I have a large-ish carry case for them and today (at last) I got some sticky labels to colour and put on the ends. Hopefully this will make it easier to find the colour I want. The box has been divided using card (my mum has some brill ideas and actually did this for me!) and the colours are all separated into the sections. I have 28 colours left to get to complete my collection and I may just get some of those with some birthday money I have which NEEDS to be spent on craft bits!!!!

Happy crafting to you all, see you again soon x

Crafts U Print Black Labrador

Today's card is an image from Crafts U Print. I made the backing paper from the initial main image. I then mat and layered onto Bazzill card. The sentiment circle is from LOTV and the greeting is printed on the computer. As usual (you should know me by now) I finished off with card candy and stickles around the edges.
You can get this image by clicking on the Crafts U Print link on the right hand side of this page. It is an actual pyramage sheet but I only wanted to use one layer as a topper this time.
Many thanks for stopping by again, please visit again soon.

Flippin' Men!!!

Today's card is one that I made a little while ago and forgot to blog. The image is a Flippin' Men Golfing Man. I coloured him with Promarkers and then cut out. My mum found the background image on Google which we thought was appropriate and I mat and layered this onto the front of my card. I added a piece of acetate to the front of the card (and folded this round to the back). I stuck the front of the man to the top of the acetate and then added the back image to the reverse side.  I finished off with peel-offs for the age as no greeting was needed on the front.
I hope you like this card. I have been busy colouring in some House Mouse images tonight so will post the cards I make with these shortly.
I am almost on day 20 of my blogging challenge and will keep going as long as I can!
Happy crafting to you all, please visit again soon x

House Mouse

Hi Everyone, thanks for stopping by. Today Im posting early as it was late when I posted last night and I kept nodding off, almost to the point where my blog wasn't updated and the challenge would have come to an end!! I did make it tho and I'm here again today so I'm still going strong.
Today I'd like to show you some colouring I've done with my Promarkers that I am really chuffed with. The stamp I have used is a House Mouse one called 'No Cheese Please'. I was lucky enough to get hold of this stamp at our crop on Saturday. A lady who has been in touch with our dear Leader Eileen has been getting rid of lots of her craft items. This time it was her House Mouse collection she was selling and all the money raised would be donated to charity. There were between 60-70 stamps of various sizes and they were.... wait for it..... £1 EACH!! Well that was too good a bargain to miss and I ended up with 4! Everyone at the crop had their pick and all the stamps sold, hence a good amount going to this lady's chosen charity.
This is the stamp I bought. I like these as they give you a lovely coloured picture on the top which helps when you want to colour after stamping. Im always unsure what colours to do and where to shade.
This is my stamped image and colouring. It looks a bit paler in the pic than it does in real life but it does give you some idea. Please let me know what you think. Now I just need to make it into a card!! At least that will be a posting for another day.
Anyway I must go now as I'm having a bit of a clearout today and tidy up. Im quite pleased with what I've done so far so need to get back to it before going on the school run.
Bye for now, happy crafting x

This is it!!

Well this is the card that could be a winner!! I only say this because the competition I'm entering it in has no entries at the mo!! I am entering this in the Allhallows Croppers Card Competition on Facebook and Eileen our dear leader is even thinking of entering so she can post herself some goodies when she wins!!! I think she's won enough at the mo though as she was the winner on Quick Cards Made Easy Facebook page today after writing a poem. Well done Eileen you deserve it honestly. Just let us have a peek at your winning craft goodies when you get them please x
The theme of the competition was to make a Mothers Day card but only use 2 colours. You could change the shade of the colours as long as only 2 colours were used. I chose the Peony digi image from Imagenation. I printed it on pink card after adding a verse in the corner and mounted it on green card. I added a ribbon coloured with Promarkers and finished off with some stickles around the edges.
Sorry its only a short posting today, I've been at work again but now have 5 days off to get some more crafting done (for a change!!).
I hope you like it, please visit again soon

Pink & Girlie!!

I've made it through the day and now have a lovely pink girlie card to show you. It didnt quite finish up like I planned as I forgot to attach the ribbon to the backing card before sticking down. It gives me good reason to do another one with this image though as I think its so cute. I coloured it with Promarkers and added a bit of glitter onto the wings. I mat and layered onto Bazzill card and Pink Petticoat papers and added some corners which I made by using 2 square nestabilities. I then embossed the square with Swiss Dots and cut the corners off the squares. I finished off by layering 3 flowers from my stash, attaching a brad and adding a little glitter. As usual I decorated the inside to match.

Thanks for looking, come back again soon

I've made it!!!!

Phew, I made it!! I'm getting a bit carried away tonight watching Philip Schofield on Dancing on Ice and now Duran Duran, and there's a bit of flashback happening with all these old songs!!
Well I've been really busy today getting bits ready for schools tomorrow, getting my stuff ready for work, as my 16 days off have finally come to an end, and I've been quite creative also. I needed to get plenty done so that I've got something to blog over the next couple of days, as after doing a 13hr shift there is no time for making a card!
Today's card is one I made yesterday at the crop. The image is Sugar Nellie and the papers are from my stash. As usual I coloured with Promarkers (the boy's top is orange not yellow as stated by one of my friend's yesterday!!). I added a ribbon and some card candy and finished off with a LOTV greeting on a lacey circles embellishment.
I decorated the inside to match as usual and feel that if I dont do this then there is something missing!
Please visit again as I will have another card here tomorrow for you to see. I read all comments so please leave one if you would like to.
Happy crafting x

Crop

Sorry I've left it a bit late tonight,, got a bit carried away with watching tv! Well I havent got a card to show you today cause I want to tell you about a fab crop that I've been to today (along with 23 other people!). It is run by Eileen, Karen & Sheila and is held at Allhallows, Kent. We have spent the day chatting, drinking tea, eating scrummy cake (well it looked scrummy, unfortunately I can't eat it due to a food allergy), sharing ideas, and making the odd card or two! Karen holds a 'Make & Take' which many people took part in today and we have a monthly competition. This month it was an animal card and Val won it with her frog card. (She gets free entry to the crop next month). For next month's competition, due to it being the Royal Wedding, we need to design a wedding card.  We also had the pleasure of seeing Holly & Daisy today for a little while. They will probably write about the experience on their blog tomorrow and show you what they got up to!!
We also have a page (The Allhallows Croppers) on Facebook which can be found here and Eileen (our dear Leader as she is known) runs a card competition every month which anyone can join in with (even if you dont know us!). Please take a look as your chances of winning this month are very high as nobody has posted a pic of a card yet!!
Anyway I hope I havent bored you tonight, please visit again soon. Tomorrow there will be a card to see!
Bye for now

Flower Cross

Just a little post today Im afraid but little is better than nothing as Im still going!!
Today's card uses the Flower Cross digi image from La Pashe. Once coloured I mat and layered onto various card. The white card is embossed with Swiss Dots on the Cuttlebug. The ribbon was coloured with Promarkers and I used Stickles around the edges.
As I'm sitting typing this post I've realised that I was in such a hurry to post it tonight that I've forgotten to put 2 card candy in the corners!!! I will do this before giving to my friend who sadly lost her father-in-law this week.
I also decorated the inside of the card, typed the verse on the computer and then cut out using square and square scalloped nestabilities.
Im off to a crop at Allhallows tomorrow with Eileen and lots of other crafty ladies. Got lots of images lined up to colour so a busy day ahead and hopefully some results to show you.
Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon

Jack & Ginger Anniversary

Well thank goodness that I managed to make this card yesterday (inside still to do) as today I've had a craft day with Eileen and havent completed anything!!! We just spent too much time talking and drinking coffee, making a fuss of Daisy & Holly and Eileen was being very nice to OTL (her hubby) after finding out he has a new printer on the way!!! lol  Eileen was very pleased to see my drawers that I took to show her (for those of you that are now a bit shocked please read further down my blog about the card with 4 DRAWERS underneath!!!)
Well back to the card above. The image is Jack & Ginger from Mo's Digital Pencil. I had my trusty Promarkers to hand and once coloured the image was then mat and layered. The backing paper is Victoria & Albert, flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid, leaves are made from a Cuttlebug die, the ribbon is also coloured and I've added a charm which says 'Just for You'. The sentiment was printed from the computer.
I started to make another set of drawers which Im hoping to continue with tomorrow. I need to get my finger out otherwise I wont have anything to show you tomorrow. I cant believe that I have blogged every day for about the last 12 days. Getting a bit worried now about what will happen next week as I return to work on Monday so will have to do less talking at our Allhallows Crop on Saturday and get some cards done!!
Thanks for visiting again, please come back soon

Wee Suzi from Wee Stamps

Today's card is one I made a little while ago and forgot to blog!! The image is Wee Suzi which can be purchased from Wee Stamps. The image was coloured with Promarkers and then mat and layered onto backing papers from Pink Petticoat which were a freebie with a magazine. Flowers are from Wild Orchid and the sentiment is Lily of The Valley which I then mounted onto a Lacy Circle nestie. I finished off with some gems and decorated the inside to compliment the front. Please take a look over at the Wee Stamps shop as there are some very cute images which Sylvia Zet has designed.
I have just put the finishing touches to a Wedding Anniversary card which I will blog tomorrow. I'm looking forward to spending the day with my crafty friend Eileen and her cute dogs Daisy & Holly. Please take a look over at their blogs as they are fab and they all get up to lots of mischief!!!!

At last I've made....

one of these lovely cards that has 4 drawers underneath. I saw this on a blog (again I'm so sorry but I can't find it again) and have wanted to make it for a while. I finally tore myself away from looking at everyone else's blogs last night and sat down to make this.
The image is from Sugar Nellie, flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid, backing papers are Victoria & Albert, card candy from Craftwork Cards and a doilie from my stash.
I have used the backing papers on the draw fronts also and a brad as a handle.
I decorated the inside of the card to match the front.
I hope you like this as much as I do. Please feel free to leave any comments. I will try to find the original blog this came from and post its details another day.

Happy crafting

Easter...

Well after a morning of looking round a couple of craft shops and having some goodies bought for me by my mum and dad in honour of my birthday yesterday, I finally sat down and got creative!!
I cant remember where I saw this idea as one blog leads to another but Im very grateful for someone posting it and sharing it with us.

The image is from Sassy Cheryls and its coloured with Promarkers. The backing paper is Dovecraft and the ribbon is a satin ribbon which I coloured with Promarkers. This was a total bargain at Farnborough. I think it was something like 25metres for £1.50!!
Once I'd completed this item I put some tissue paper in it and put a few chocolate eggs inside. I'm going to add a little bit of glitter to the picture just to finish it off. Now that I have attempted one I will try another and next time I'm going to alter it a little.
Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back again tomorrow

Birthday Cards

I'm here again, its becoming a bit of a habit!!! I'm going to post some cards on here today but unfortunately I cant take the credit for them. I received lots of lovely cards and would like to show you 4 of them. The first one was made by Sophie and Connor and I certainly had a chuckle when I opened it!
This next card was made by my mum
My mum also made this one from my nan
and this final card was made by a craft friend, Diane, who knows how much I like Ant & Dec!!
I've had a lovely day chilling out and went out to lunch with mum, dad, Sophie & Connor. Got another lunch date tomorrow but am definitely going to do some crafting as Sophie & Connor bought me some Promarkers to add to my collection.
Bye for now, please come back soon

Another day of no crafting!!!

Last night I went to the pics with some girls from work to watch 'Hallpass'. Was a bit wary of what it would be like after the conversation on the radio in the morning but it turned out to be quite funny. We then carried on the evening by having a meal at Frankie & Benny's. A lovely evening indeed.

But OMG I don't know whats happening to me as I've just had another day of no crafting!! Instead we have spent the day at

We had a lovely time looking at and listing things that we'd have in our new house when we win the lottery. A very large hot-tub came somewhere on that list!! We've sampled food stuffs, watched hair-do demonstrations, seen a fashion show and seen how to make ice cream in 35 secs and soup in 6 mins. We did pass on buying the item that makes these as it was £439!!!
This item would go well in Sophie's pink bedroom and it also pipes music all round the house and has space for an Ipod. Saving up will take a time tho as it cost £5,000!!!

I will try to be a little creative tomorrow if my children allow me. Being my birthday tho Im not sure whats happening so cant make any promises!! All I do promise tho is that I will be back to blog as Im keeping it going like I said I would!!

Bye for now, please visit again soon
