.....what am I like, left it a few days yet again! Lots been happening this wk with half term so not had any time to craft. Wednesday was spent covering the whole of my lounge with the contents of cupboards and drawers whilst I sorted all my craft stuff. Had a good turn out and now I can see that I do have carpet reaching up to the furniture!!! Thursday was spent with another trip to London. This time we went to Ripley's Amazing But True place at Piccadilly Circus. There are some really strange people around that obviously have too much time on their hands and think up all these weird and strange feats to do! After a lovely dinner my daughter and I parted from Connor and mum (they caught the train home) and we went to the theatre to see Flashdance the Musical which was a birthday prize from Heart London. We had front seats of the Royal Circle so had a brilliant view of the stage. A show which we would definitely recommend if you were thinking of seeing it!!
Well today was just finished on an even higher note. We now have another show to look forward to next yr which we are all sooooooooo excited about. Any guesses what it might be anyone?????

Wow music!!!!
Well I was having a bit of a nosey through lots and lots of blogs tonight when I found this music widget....just had to have it.....have spent ages adding songs and now thats it!! Please let me know what you think about having music playing whilst reading up on what I've been doing. Is it off putting, or is it ok? I found it nice to have my blog open with music playing on one tab whilst reading other blogs through another tab. I do like my music but cant often get to listen to what I want to as my children play the music channels and listen to their choices (not all bad I must admit and they do catch on quickly to my kind of tunes!!!). Will post some cards tomoro, fingers crossed.

Sorry its been a few days, lots of things cropped up and everything went belly-up!! Also i think the printer fairies have been in whilst ive been sleeping as my ink decided to run out when I was printing out some pieces in preparation for Christmas cards so hence another unplanned trip to the shops for new cartridges!
This first card was made for a friend of mine who has a really bad crush on Rosie Webster from Coronation Street. It is his birthday today so hopefully when he gets in from work this should make him smile! I made the backing papers in PSP8 and also the pyramage which I then mounted onto brown and black card. I finished off with a greeting and some card candy.
This card was made using an image from the Debbie Moore Penguin Fun CD which I bought at Biggin Hill last Sunday. It is an easel card. I printed off some backing paper from the disk and then mounted the picture. I glittered with stickles around the black border and then used gold stickles for the dots on the scarf and also edged the snow and tree in white to add a bit of bling! The bottom part of the card with the greeting was mounted with foam pads as a resting part for the picture part.
Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment x

Us crafters waste nothing!!!!
First of all I would like to thank my crafty friend Eileen. At a recent crop she was doing her usual brayering and stamping and decided that this pic was not good enough to use for what she wanted (she didnt like the spider!). The pic was going to be heading for the bin but I was cheeky and asked if I could have it to use. The credit goes entirely to Eileen for a wonderful pic, I just layered it onto some orange and black card and finished with a ribbon. I will be giving this to my neighbour as a birthday card as its her birthday the day before Halloween.
Please take a look at Eileen's blog http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.com as she does some lovely pieces of work.
This next card is one of 2 I managed to make at our crop today (inbetween chatting and laughing!!!). The image is a digi stamp from Kenny K. I coloured it with Promarkers and then cut out. I then mounted it on 2 oval nestabities. I added some gorgeous flowers which I bought from Wild Orchid Crafts (http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com), ribbon coloured with Promarkers and gems from my stash. I added some Stickles around the edge of the oblong blue layer and some dots on the scalloped parts of the ovals.
Thank you for coming and looking today. Please leave any comments you wish to make.

So pleased with......
....what I managed to get done today. 3 essential cards finished and that now means Im able to start my Christmas cards.
This first card was needed for a Crystal Palace football fan who will be 80. I made the backing paper and then mat and layered it along with pics of the Crystal Palace ground and players. Finished this off with a greeting and card candy.
This next card is of the Chryslar Tower in New York. I made the backing paper in Paint Shop Pro 8 and also made the pyramage image. I layered these on blue and silver card but have left the rest blank.
This final card is going to be sent to a DoCrafts Member for her grandaughter's birthday. She wanted to surprise her by receiving cards from other crafters. The lady sent me a photo and I made backing paper and a pyramage image. I added a flower and brad and a greeting to finish off. I hope she will be pleased with the finished article. A few little crafty bits will also be included for her.
I've got some lovely digi Christmas images from Kenny K and cant wait to start using them so please come back and look in the next few days.
Thanks for dropping by, any comments will be most welcome. If you leave a comment I will also visit your blog and return the favour.

Anniversary wishes....
Mum and Dad. This card is for a lovely friend of mine. The image is from http://www.karensdoodles.com and coloured with Promarkers, with papers used from my stash (I have so many I have accumulated that Im trying to get them used up!!). After mounting the papers I edged them with gold Stickles. I finished off with some flowers and brads and the greeting I printed on my PC. For once this came together quite easily as the papers came from a set and went together well.
Thanks for stopping by. I have been busy working for the last 3 days and busy it certainly has been. I now have 4 days off so will be able to get some more cards sorted and Im hoping to get started on some Christmas cards!!!! Please stop by again soon to see how I am progressing.

80th Birthday
These 2 cards are for a lady on her 80th birthday. I wanted to do 2 different designs so this is what I came up with. This first image is from http://www.imag-e-nation.com/categories/Digital-Stamp-Downloads/Just-Inklined-Digital-Stamps and is coloured with Promarkers. I have matted it with pink and silver card and then mounted onto patterned background paper from HOTP. I edged this paper with silver Stickles for a bit of sparkle and finished off with greetings printed from the computer and ribbon which I coloured with Promarkers.
The second card I also used a digi image but cant remember where I got it from!! I cut it out and layered on Nestabilities Oval and then onto Oval Scalloped and mounted it onto paper from HOTP. I finished off again with card candy, Prima flowers, leaves which I made using the Cuttlebug and ribbon which again was coloured with Promarkers.
Thank you for looking again, happy crafting.

Thanksgiving
Here are 3 cards I've made for Thanksgiving. The cat image, mailbox and corn stalk are from http://www.karensdoodles.com/, coloured with Promarkers, finished off with ribbon, which was also coloured with Promarkers so it matched the papers, and flowers and brads from my stash.
This last picture I found on google. The papers were from my stash, card candys from http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/ and prima flowers. The greeting I printed off on the computer.

Got To Dance....
...was absolutely brilliant today!!! Went to London to watch the filming and spent 5hrs in the company of Ashley Banjo (Diversity), Kimberley Wyatt (Pussycat Dolls) and Adam Garcia. Also mustn't forget Stuart the Compare for the afternoon who did a wonderful job and made us all laugh, especially when he had to run round the studio in his boxers after losing a bet with Ashley.
Now looking forward to Britain's Got Talent auditions which we will get free tickets for after going today. Cant wait to see Ant and Dec!!!!!!
No cards finished today but will put some here tomoro.

My first.....
christmas cards made this year. This first card has one of Mo's Digital stamp images http://digitalpenciltoo.com/, coloured with Promarkers. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the snowflake backing and ribbon coloured with the Promarkers, then backing paper from my stash.
This second card was made after finding this stamp at Alexander Palace Stamp and Scrapbooking show last week. It is a Lily of the Valley image http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/ and I think they are so gorgeous I just had to buy 3!!! I used papers from Papermania, prima flowers, leaves cut with Cuttlebug and a border made using a Martha Stewart punch. The image was finished off by adding a little glitter to the snowman.
Please feel free to leave any comments.

Latest creations as promised...
This was my darling daughter's birthday card/book. She adores Peter Andre at the mo and this pic was done using a pic of sophie added in on http://www.faceinhole.com. The rest of the book was some photos taken whilst we were at Madame Tussauds which she chose as her birthday treat.
Sophie's brother delighted her with this card. I found this digi image of a girl with braces and thought it appropriate. He doesn't normally make her laugh but when she opened this card and saw what it was there was a grin on her face!!!!
I needed to make some Thanksgiving cards this year, which was a bit of a challenge but I managed to find these digi images on Karen's Doodles site (http://karensdoodles.com/). The corn stalk is one image and the mailbox and pumpkins another but I combined the 2 in Paintshop Pro 8. Took a while but got there in the end and quite love the result I got. I coloured with promarkers and mounted on papers from my stash. Finished off with prima flowers.
The following card was made for our Ward Sister at work. She loved it. The digi design was from Prairie Fairy (http://www.prairiefairydesigns.com/cart/home.php?cat), I coloured it with Promarkers, used HOTP papers, prima flowers and ribbon coloured with Promarkers.
The following card is for a friend. 'A sexy man one' was what she asked for and this is the result! I made the backing paper in PSP8 after finding the image on Google. I used black gems around the pic, black satin ribbon and finished off with a greeting made on the computer.

I hope you like these new cards, please feel free to leave any comments. I have some more to add on here but cant add those until they have been given! Please note my new watermark feature also. I added this to my pics in Adobe Photoshop. Quite easy to do once you know how!!
Bye for now, happy crafting.
PS. We are off ice skating this afternoon so that Sophie can try out her new iceskates!!!!

Hello......
again. It's been a few days but I'm here. Hello Eileen (http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.com) I hope you are looking!!! Well I've had a very enjoyable day today with all the crafty girls at one of our regular crops. Today it was run by Stephanie. Plenty of ideas and wonderful cards being made and we were all talking about our visit to Alley Palley last week and the goodies we managed to buy. Photos will follow of my cards I've made today once daylight appears tomorrow so I can take the pics!!
Hope you all like my signing off signature here, I also have a new watermark for putting on my photos which I need to experiment with. Also, as you may notice, I'm experimenting with putting links on here, not sure if its quite right so any advice would be gratefully received please.
Bye for now, thanks for taking the time to visit.
