Martini Girl digi and candle

Good morning everyone, hope you are well.
Today is a day of celebrating birthdays. Firstly it is my darling Nan's 97th Birthday (card to be posted here tomorrow) and it is also my dear friend Katie's birthday. The card I am going to show today is Katie's. I have also done a candle with a design to match the card.
The Girl in Martini Glass digi is from Sassy Studio. I coloured this with Promarkers. The backing papers are from the Docrafts Tatty Teddy set. I mat and layered the papers and then edged in pink Stickles. I finished off by adding 'Special Friend' which I cut out using the Olivia letters on the Cuttlebug. These were glittered also.
For the candle I used the same digi image and a greeting and printed these onto white tissue paper. I then coloured (very carefully!) with my Promarkers. I then added it to the candle in the usual way and finished off with some organza ribbon which I coloured to match and a few little gems. I then placed it into a clear bag and tied with ribbon as this is for decoration only.

I hope you like these 2 items and please come back tomorrow to see the card I made for my nan.

Ruby Anniversary with doily die

Hello everyone, happy Thursday!!
Today's card is one I made for a friend's Ruby Anniversary. The doily die heart was kindly lent to me by my dear friend Eileen. Please take a look here at a card Eileen has made for Christmas using this die. She also has a wedding card on her blog using it. Her blog is lovely so please visit her.
The backing picture and topper came from Making Cards Special Occasion edition. I matted these onto red card, coloured some organza ribbon for the edge and finished off with a greeting on the computer.
Please come back tomorrow as I do have another card to post. I know its strange but there will definitely be another one to view!!!!!
Happy crafting.

Tealight Card

Hi all, Im back!!!!!!
Sorry its been so long but lots to do and lots I cant post until they've been given. Hopefully will now have chance to publish them all. The first card is one that I saw on this site here. I made it for my good friend Tina on her birthday and she was delighted with it.
The image is from Lily of the Valley and coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Docrafts Tatty Teddy range. I finished off with some flowers from my stash with a brad and some gems. The card is tied together at the side with some organza ribbon which I again coloured with Promarkers.
This is the inside of the card and has a tag on the left hand side which I finished off with a greeting. I needed to make a box for this also and for once I managed to do it right the first time!!

I hope you like this long awaited post and come back soon for the next one. I have a few ready and waiting!!

Thinking of you card

Hi all, hope you are well.
Thought I better post one of my latest cards again as its been a while and I was so pleased how this card turned out. This is another idea I pinched from Julie's Crafty Creations. She makes some wonderful cards, please take a look. Her link is on my last blog entry.
This card I made for a competition at our monthly Allhallows Crop. The category was a thinking of you card with flowers in a vase.
I coloured the image using Promarkers and I also coloured the organza ribbon. I added some glitter on the tulips to give them an extra sparkle and finished off with some gems and a greeting.
I hope you like this creation with a difference. I will be trying it again with some Christmas cards I hope.
See you soon, happy crafting

Quad Easel Card for 70th Birthday

Hello everyone, hope you are well.  Today I have a different card to show you which I made following inspiration from Julie's Crafty Creations. Please pop over and take a look at Julie's blog as she has lots of lovely and different cards.

Looking down onto the card. When assembled all sides hold each other up!
I made this card for my darling dad on his 70th Birthday yesterday. The card and papers were out of my stash, unfortunately I cant remember the make of the papers. I printed the photos and then mounted, finishing off with card candy. I added the computer generated text and then added gems as a final touch. Its a bit of a puzzle to put up when complete but when its all in place its great.
Thanks for taking a look today, hopefully I will be back soon with another different card.
