A Change???

Well had a lovely day today with my daughter and her friend. A sleepover last night and then a day of shopping. We all got some lovely goodies and I am now relaxing thinking up card ideas!!! I need to do a few different cards from the usual in the next few days. My lovely postman bought be a package with some more Promarkers in yesterday but because I was working I didnt get chance to try them out. Lots of digital stamps to colour still so that is next on the agenda! Also our crop competition this month is to make a card in one colour so the brain cells are going mad with ideas for that also (thanks Eileen!!!). Bye for now, crafting to do, watch out for my efforts in the next few days! xx

Here they are!

I love this pic of a bride. After layering it up I used my Cuttlebug to emboss hearts onto green card and added ribbon I coloured with my Promarkers. I finished by adding some red and green flowers and some gems.

I bought this image as a A4 pic and using Paint Shop Pro 8 made a pyramage image and the backing paper. Am very pleased with the results and have now got the hang of making backing paper for any of my cards!

This pic is just adorable and had to be made with pink and silver card!! How cute. As usual I have used my Cuttlebug to emboss and finished with card candies!

This is another bride in the set and it seemed right to use blue card as there was a hint of blue in the pic. This time I used the Swiss Dots in the Cuttlebug and again finished off with ribbon and card candy that I coloured with my Promarkers!

Pink is one of my favourite colours as you can probably guess and again I made this pyramage and backing paper. How elegant does she look. I have another pic similar in brown as I just cant resist them!

Sexy girl

Elegant lady

Another sexy girl!

This one is my favourite. I only bought the one picture and made the pyramage myself in Paint Shop Pro 8. Took a while to do but finally worked it all out and now I am well away!! Also making my own backing papers for some cards and will post them on here very soon.

Thanks for looking, happy crafting to you all x

Friday at last!!

Well Ive still been busy and have sold quite a few cards this week so I am on a high at the moment. The card below is for a neighbour of mine who has a labrador just like this one. I got the pyramage image off my favourite site but made the background paper myself. Very pleased with the end result!

This was a special order. The lady wanted a Bookatrix card and I always find it awkward to make them stand up when done so thought I would experiment by incorporating an easel card into it. The flowers were mounted on a circle of card using pinflair glue then mounted with the feather. I also used some gems and glittery ribbon to finish off. Needless to say I also had to make a box for it to fit into so had to endure a trip to my local Papermill shop to get some A3 card!!!

Another image from that site and the usual card candy and ribbon coloured with my Promarkers!

I made this card with no-one particular in mind but have since sold it to my friend who wanted it for a friend's daughter who just keeps getting tattoos done at the moment and has just had a large one done on her back. Ouch!!!!!

I like the colours Ive used for this card as it draws out the colour of the fairy's dress. The border was made with a Martha Stewart punch.

I need to go off to work now until this evening but have got a wonderful crop to look forward to tomorrow with some lovely crafty friends. So many cards to make so need to get myself organised later on!! Happy crafting to you all x

My favourite site

Havent had much chance to do any crafting in the last few days as it was my son's birthday and then he has been off school for a couple of days. All my good made plans went to pot in the end!! Anyway, I've still been able to look on my favourite site at what has been happening and just keep finding more lovely sheets appearing! So far I have stopped the urge to put anything in my basket but dont think I can hold out much longer. Please take a look and see if there is anything that catches your eye by using the web page address below and having a browse through the site as well as looking at the cards I have on there that go with some of the sheets.
