Butterflies!!!

Hi all, Happy Easter. Hope you have had a lovely day and not eaten too much chocolate.  I've had a lovely day with Sophie & Connor and my darling boyfriend Kevin. We went to the pics to watch Titanic 3d and I must say it was brill and yes, I did cry again!!!! lol

Anyway, today's card I'm posting has been made after seeing the idea in a craft magazine. Its a very handy way of using up scraps of card. I visited Oyster Stamps last week and managed to find a die of 4 small butterflies. I used just 2 of them for this card and after cutting them I folded in the centre and slightly shaped their wings before mounting with silicone glue. I also added some dots which I punched using a circular hand punch, another thing I've had in the draw for ages and never seem to use much!  Once these were all dry I added some stickles to the butterflies.  The greeting was printed on the card in multicolour print before I started. This card can be used for most occasions and so far I've done an anniversary card and this thank you card.

Easter

Hi all, thought it was time I posted some pics of cards I've been busy making lately. These are all digi stamps and have been coloured using Promarkers. This first digi is from Kelly Rhodes at Inked Paws. I found her on Facebook one day and she has lots of great images. She is very friendly and replies asap to any questions. Digis are sent through straight away also with no waiting around.

This is another of Kelly's images and can be used for birthdays also. 

As usual I have edged all the images and papers with Stickles, it really does make a difference to the finished article.

Little Claire's Lazy man!!

Hi all, todays card is a male card I made using some of my new craft goodies. The image is from Little Claire's and its coloured with Promarkers.

I used a Memory Box die 'Tessatina' across the centre of the card and the corner decorations are actually the punched out bits of the die with gems on top. I finished off with a greeting from Lily of the Valley and glittered around the edge.

Shoes!!!!

Hi all, well thought I better put some more pics on to show what I've been doing lately. At the moment I am full up with cold and headaches so cant do as much crafting as I want to. I've been to a couple of craft shows lately and bought lots of lovely goodies....

Here are 3 cards that I made with a stamp I bought ages ago and hadn't got round to using. The stamp is from Dimension Stamps and its coloured with Promarkers. On 2 of the cards I used Glossy Accents and on the other card I added some red glitter. I glued the ribbons in place as I wanted to try a different effect but am not keen on this so will be wrapping it around the card in future. The shoe on the left has been cut out and mounted with 3d pads.

Pot of Dreams moneybox

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely Sunday.
Today I have made something special for my daughter. She was wanting a Pot of Dreams moneybox to put savings in for Christmas. When she realised she had to smash it to get the money out she soon went off the idea so I made her something similar.  I will let you guess what the essential basic item was that I used. I then added freebie papers which I got from Summer Driggs, ribbon, gems, stickles, some hanging tags (cut from Memory Box dies) and a digi image from Saturated Canary. Sophie has a pink bedroom so I wanted to stick to that colour and make it very girly for her. The lid is glued on so that she isnt tempted to dip in whilst saving and we will probably cut a hole in the bottom once its full and then add another plastic cap so that she can reuse it!
