Crafty Day Today

Hi all
Hope you are well. I'm still feeling rather down at the mo so today I'm going to sit and have a crafty day. I have lots of things I need and want to make so I'm going to see how productive I can be!!
Just wanted to let you know about 2 fab CDs I purchased using some xmas money.....they are from Imag-e-nation and are The Big Pair 2012 CD Roms.  This includes a CD from Just Inklined with over 200 digi images. Most images are available from their site but some are solely on the CD. The other disk is from La Pashe and has lots of decoupage etc on it. Many of the pages are coloured images of the digi stamps so if you want to save a bit of time with colouring they are ideal. I have already decided on some birthday cards I will be making.  They are £15.99 each or £20 for the pair so it would be rude not to buy the pair wouldnt it!!!!
Anyway I just need to nip to the shops before getting down to some craft so please come back soon as I will post pics of what I achieve.
Happy crafting

PS. Im out for a crafty xmas meal tonight with our craft club from Demelza House Children's Hospice so I'm looking forward to that also.

Remembering..

This is the card I managed to make today whilst having a crafty day with Eileen. We always do too much talking and drinking of tea and dont have much to show but we do have a thoroughly good time. Eileen is such a darling that she even got in some gluten free goodies today which I could eat whilst I crafted!!!! Very much appreciated Eileen and a lovely gesture.
Remembering.....

The image is from Just Inklined and I coloured in using my Promarkers. The backing paper is from my stash, white organza ribbon coloured with Promarkers and card candy.
Thanks for stopping by. I have another card half made so will get that on here in the next couple of days.
Bye for now

80th Birthday

These 2 cards are for a lady on her 80th birthday. I wanted to do 2 different designs so this is what I came up with. This first image is from http://www.imag-e-nation.com/categories/Digital-Stamp-Downloads/Just-Inklined-Digital-Stamps and is coloured with Promarkers. I have matted it with pink and silver card and then mounted onto patterned background paper from HOTP. I edged this paper with silver Stickles for a bit of sparkle and finished off with greetings printed from the computer and ribbon which I coloured with Promarkers.

The second card I also used a digi image but cant remember where I got it from!! I cut it out and layered on Nestabilities Oval and then onto Oval Scalloped and mounted it onto paper from HOTP. I finished off again with card candy, Prima flowers, leaves which I made using the Cuttlebug and ribbon which again was coloured with Promarkers.

Thank you for looking again, happy crafting.

Hi everyone, another catch up is due of the most recent cards I've been making. This first card I made for my son's teacher. The image is from Mos Digital Pencil and I have coloured it in with Promarkers to match the colour of my son's uniform.

This next card was for my friend to give to her husband on their wedding anniversary. She chose the picture and I then made the backing paper. I used the Fleur de Lis spellbinders die underneath the picture.
I just love the images from Karens Doodles and thought these giraffes were so sweet. The backing papers came from Making Cards magazine. The picture doesnt do it any justice really, it looks better in real life!

This art deco lady is from a Debbie Moore Glitz and Glamour CD. I added some glitter on the vertical ribbons and the ladies dress to give it some extra sparkle! This was for Dianne, another one of my crafty friends!

I found this image on Just Inklined website and thought it is suitable for quite a selection of cards. I was asked to make some friend cards and thought by using this I could change the colours so they were all different. The verse on the card is from another card I have made in the past but this can also be changed to suit the occasion the card is for.

The last few pics are 15 cards I made for my friend who is a Driving Instructor. She will be giving them to her pupils when they pass their tests. My thanks go out to Karen at Karens Doodles for designing the image of the boy and girl in the car. After looking through her site and not finding anything suitable I sent a quick email asking if it was possible for her to design something and this is what she came up with. Its great because now there's a whole variety of colours they can be coloured in.
