House Mouse - All Fired Up

Hi all, another House Mouse card today. This time it is All Fired Up. At first glance I thought it was a bowl of strawberries but Eileen soon put me right on that!!! lol
I coloured with Promarkers as usual and added backing papers from Summer Driggs. I know I keep using these papers but Summer has so many on her blog that she offers for free and they are soooo lovely I've just had to download lots. I needed them all definitely!! lol  I mounted on brown card from my stash and added organza ribbon and card candy.
I'm hoping that over the last 3 days my posts have appeared as I tried scheduling them for a change. Due to working long days on Monday and Tuesday I can then get my blog entry ready over the weekend as sometimes it is quite late when I get home and I dont want to miss a day. It is getting too much of a routine now!!
Please come back soon and enjoy any crafting you do x

House Mouse - No Cheese Please

Today I have another gorgeous House Mouse card for you.
I coloured the image and really did take a long time trying to get the shading right. The good thing about the House Mouse stamps is that the image on the wooden block is coloured so it helps as a guide. I then used some papers from Summer Driggs and mat and layered onto brown card from my stash. I then added some organza ribbon which I coloured to match. I finished off with some card candy. I didnt add a greeting to this card as it could be used as a Thinking of You or Birthday.
Happy crafting, see you soon x

Hanglar boy and girl

Today's card is the one I made for my mum from Sophie and Connor for Mother's Day. I thought the images were so cute and it looked like they were holding their arms open to show how much they love her.
I used some backing paper from Summer Driggs and mounted this on pink Bazzill card. I cut out the octagon shapes using Nestabilities. I coloured the images and then cut these out and after using Stickles around the white octagons and the backing paper, I mounted the images. I added a 'Nan' and a 'We Love You This Much' greeting printed from the computer, and also glittered, and finished off with card candy.
I decorated the inside of the card to match.
Thanks for visiting, see you again soon x

Happy Mothers Day....

to my very special mum. She is one in a million. Im so grateful for all that she does for me (and my children) and I love her to bits. xx
Here is the card that I made and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The image is My Fair Lady from Sassy Studio. I coloured it with Promarkers and mounted on Bazzill card. I used Swiss Dots embossing folder on the white background and then mounted this also. I added some satin ribbon and corner die cuts which I again coloured. I finished off by adding some flowers from Wild Orchid and some gems. I then decorated the inside of the card to match.

A view of the inside

Another inside view
I hope all you mums out there have had a lovely day, I certainly have. I was treated to breakfast in bed, had a lovely card and a book from Sophie & Connor, we had a relaxing morning before a nice roast dinner and then this afternoon I sat cuddled up with Sophie watching Mamma Mia. Connor thought it was better to play on his playstation but he did keep popping down to have a sneaky watch for a little while!!
Anyway this blogging business is still going strong and today is now Day 29!! Please come back and visit soon as I have plenty more to post on here.
Happy crafting x

Pre Mother's Day

Hi folks, what a lovely day it has been today, lovely and sunny here in Kent with rain starting early evening.
Well I have had a quiet time since yesterday as my son was at his dad's from last night until this eve and my daughter went to her friend's house for a sleepover.
Last night my son's school held a Pamper Evening which I went to with a good friend of mine. There were lots of treatments available including facials, reichi treatment, head massages, back massages, tarot card readings, eyebrow threading and plenty of stalls selling cakes, Body Shop items, cards (not handmade!), cookery parties at home, henna tattoos and the Gold Man. Well after having a nosey around my friend and I decided to have our eyebrows threaded as we had never tried this before. I normally wax mine myself but have always wondered what threading was like. Well....... it wasn't too bad and I will even have it done again!!! It's a very strange feeling but is done so quickly.

Unfortunately I don't have a card to show you today as it is Top Secret!!! I have been busy making a special mother's day card today and will blog the finished article tomorrow evening once I have seen the Best Mum in the World.
As there is no card to look at here maybe you would like to stop over at my dear friend Eileen's blog and have a look at the Royal Wedding card she has done for Wills and Kate!! It is gorgeous. Well done Eileen, it looks brill, certainly not how it looked when you was putting it together the other day!!! lol

Bye for now, happy crafting, please visit again soon
