How.....

do other people manage to find time to make cards and enter them in challenges, take pictures of their cards, do entries on their blog and also do all the other everyday household chores because I just cannot manage it all!! It has taken me all day today to make a booklet card plus another simple card and Ive just managed to take some pics of them. I havent got time tonight to upload them here as Im up early for work tomoro (5.30am) so will hopefully do it tomoro once home from work. Also I have gone without tea tonight and have not had my children around all day so why o why can I not manage it. Any tips would be gratefully received if there is anyone out there that manages it all!!!!

It just had to be men.....

cards that I made this time. All the ones in my box are female orientated and everyone keeps asking for male ones so have made a start with some. Not sure where I got this pic but it was a freebie digi stamp. I coloured it with Promarkers then blended the white card with chalks.

This next pic was a freebie again from Kenny K digi stamps. I used purple in the papers and embellishments as boys are tending to wear pink and purple more often these days. Please let me know what you think!!!

This was my freebie football boy again coloured in blue and using card candy instead of buttons.

The flower image is from Just Inklined and I added a friend verse beside it. These cards are for my friend's mum to send to her friends so I made them in different colours. The ribbon at the corner is coloured with Promarkers.

This card is for an engagement. The floral papers are from Hot Off The Press and the image is Mikey from Charmed Cards and Craft digi stamps.
This final card is for my friend's mum. I love this image of Peonys and found a lovely Mother verse to put beside it. I changed the letters at the beginning of each line to match the colour of the flowers.
I now have quite a few special cards to make so that will keep me busy for a few days along with going out for days with my two children. Hope the weather is nice for you all and the heat isnt putting a stop to your crafting. Thanks for looking.
PS. I have entered a card on the Featured Diva section of Karens Doodles this week so please keep your fingers crossed for me xx

Hi everyone, another catch up is due of the most recent cards I've been making. This first card I made for my son's teacher. The image is from Mos Digital Pencil and I have coloured it in with Promarkers to match the colour of my son's uniform.

This next card was for my friend to give to her husband on their wedding anniversary. She chose the picture and I then made the backing paper. I used the Fleur de Lis spellbinders die underneath the picture.
I just love the images from Karens Doodles and thought these giraffes were so sweet. The backing papers came from Making Cards magazine. The picture doesnt do it any justice really, it looks better in real life!

This art deco lady is from a Debbie Moore Glitz and Glamour CD. I added some glitter on the vertical ribbons and the ladies dress to give it some extra sparkle! This was for Dianne, another one of my crafty friends!

I found this image on Just Inklined website and thought it is suitable for quite a selection of cards. I was asked to make some friend cards and thought by using this I could change the colours so they were all different. The verse on the card is from another card I have made in the past but this can also be changed to suit the occasion the card is for.

The last few pics are 15 cards I made for my friend who is a Driving Instructor. She will be giving them to her pupils when they pass their tests. My thanks go out to Karen at Karens Doodles for designing the image of the boy and girl in the car. After looking through her site and not finding anything suitable I sent a quick email asking if it was possible for her to design something and this is what she came up with. Its great because now there's a whole variety of colours they can be coloured in.
male drivers

female drivers
I hope you like these new cards. Feel free to leave any comments.
Happy crafting xx

PS. A big thank you again to Eileen for sharing blog making info the other week. I added the pics first today and then put all the writing in and it was sooooo much quicker!!!!

At last I can show you.....

the cards I have been making lately as the celebrations have happened!! First one is a lovely fairy card. I just adore this image at the moment which is from Karens Doodles.

I was asked to make a card for a 4yr old with a princess castle on it. After having trouble trying to work out the best way to do it I borrowed a Craft Companions 'Girl' CD from my lovely friend Eileen and got the idea from there. I have glittered parts of the card and added a fairy and fairy dust.

A box was needed for this card also as it is raised.

The next 2 cards were requests for twin girls. One girl is mad on mermaids and the other is a High School Musical/Zac Efron fan. The mermaid is another Karens Doodles image and I made the backing paper after finding a picture of Arial on Google. The image was coloured as near to the same colours as I could. The Zac Efron pic was another image I found which I then pyramaged and also made backing paper to match.

Yesterday was my mum and dad's 45th Wedding Anniversary and I needed to think up 3 different ideas for cards as my dad asked me to make one and then I needed to do one from both me and my children (Sophie & Connor). My dad's one was made using an old photo of them both, making the backing paper and then mounting the photo. I got the idea for my card from another blog Ive been looking through lately that has some wonderful cards on. If I remember rightly it is a lady called Yvonne. I used a fancy die and wound it around an octagonal frame. The image is a Karens Doodles one again! Lastly the card from my children was on a similar scale to my friend Eileen's card but instead of using the Fleur de Lis Shapeabilities die, as I had seen on one of Eileen's cards, I used a different one. (I wont mention the fact that it was because she forgot to bring it with her to a crop we went to so I could borrow it!!!!!! lol)

Well I have caught up at last and hope you enjoy looking at my latest efforts. Im off to bed shortly as Ive got work for the next 2 days but I have still got some orders to make so if the weather isnt too hot I may be able to get them done.
Happy crafting to you all xx

I have sussed it!!!!!

Well this is earlier than expected but just to let my good crafty friend Eileen know, I have sorted my blog. We have had a lovely time crafting and chatting today (more chatting than crafting!!!) and after seeing Eileen's blog it seemed that mine was not working correctly. Well with the click of a button it has suddenly changed and Im now experimenting!!!

This is a card I made for Fathers Day for a friend's dad. As usual I have used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and card candy. The greenhouse picture I found on Google!

Well its only short and sweet for now to let you know all is ok. I will post some pics of things Ive done today once the items are finished.

Thank you Eileen for your company today, it was fun, and your craft room is amazing!!!!

Happy crafting x
