Hi all, sorry for such a long delay in getting back here but its been a bit hectic this week. It was my son Connor's 10th birthday last Monday (2nd) and he received some lovely handmade cards which he really does enjoy looking at. They have pride of place on the mantelpiece and all other cards are moved to the windowsill!!
These cards were made by my crafty mum! I think she has done a really wonderful job and receiving these personalised cards really makes Connor happy as they are made with things that he enjoys in mind.
Sorry for the delay in posting this but when I tried to post at the weekend I was unable to load pictures on here. It just kept churning away and didnt do anything. Ive now got a few days off work again so hopefully will get posting some more cards for you to see.
Happy crafting to you all, please visit again soon

Post-It Easel
Hello everyone, hope you have all had a lovely Sunday. It has been nice and sunny here again. Today I took my son, Connor, and daughter, Sophie, to our local ski centre to go tobogganing as it will be Connor's 10th birthday tomorrow. They had a lovely time but unfortunately did not get chance to go on the Sno-Tubes as it was closed to individuals and only open for parties. Afterwards we went for a lovely dinner at the Harvester and then had a cuppa with some great friends. Connor is now tucked up in bed waiting eagerly for his birthday to arrive!!!! lol
Well today's creation is something slightly different again. It is an easel card with a post-it holder. This one is quite small but I have adapted the pattern to the size of a 15cm square card and am in the process of completing this, so once done will post here.

I used backing papers from Dovecraft, white card which I embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, flowers from my stash (the darker ones were coloured with Promarkers to blend in), brads and Stickles around the edges. I also edged the box in the backing paper. The size of the Post-Its is 3"x3" so that might give you an idea on the overall finished size.
A side view. When it lays flat over the Post-Its there is a 1cm spine so that it lays flat and isn't pulled out of shape.
I hope you like this, please leave any comments.
Please visit again soon, bye for now x
